Assuming that the TUI sale is to genrate cash then there must be a good chance that some of it might be used to buy some bits of MyTravel.
Although many investors seem keen to keep the whole group together, I think the best plan of attack would be to generate £150m ? by selling whatever peripheral parts of the business that they can.
That way control is back in their own hands rather than "hoping" that 23 banks can sit down and thrash out another deal. It would also leave a tidy sum in the bank for those rainy days :-)
They could then focus on dominating the UK holiday market, and take over a few of their competitors/rivals such as FC who seem to be struggling.
Based on this then which bits could be sold, and for how much?
