without ramping, those with a long term view will do well from holding mt., like posted previously 1 bad year in 30 isnt so bad, but couple that with a poor market, september 11th war on iraq, shite sentiment, and a general downer on travel, think about it, british airways, stagecoach, railtrack, mid western railways, and of course mytravel. travel in general is taking the beating that tmts have taken. telecoms companies are really starting to recover, and so i believe will travel, ba and stagecoach are off the lows and imho mytravel will follow, if that arse mr george bush can keep his calm, and not try and scrap with everyone!
If you watch stocks carefully you can gain a lot from the shorters amongst us the trouble being there are more shorters out there that would say short a stock for 500k than long it for 500k, the likes of IT et al make no difference in the scheme of things, but be on your guard when they appear, as they are right a lot of the time, IT appeared at around 29p even with todays bounce you would still be well in profit from shorting, when sentiment turns on a stock and t++ are gone we rely on buyers, if there are none then shorters will have a field day
Where now???. I dont want to guess, but on the last dip I have a total of 55k from 16-19p, I will sell them in to the rise and keep my 100k for the day we reach 40p. I believe in the fundamentals of mt and think next year will see a considerable profit, but I would like to see some cost cutting somewhere and soon, my advicr for what its worth is hold a few and trade a few, good luck everyone and have yourselves a pissed up crimbo
