Vav: there was in the marathon archives, and whilst FAO may not have stated H2S it's worth pointing out that the only breakdown of oil was in EOV 7, so we just don't know. I would be surprised though, wouldn't you, to find H2S only on EOV7? (although Marathon documented it as present)
It's a bit beside the point now though Vav...we'll see soon enough whether BLVN go quicker than the 2008 or whether its as they state.
Not quite right though are you, as your suggested function in the PROCESSING of oil doesn't cover H2S, yet it was you previously posting about FPSO would need to take in account H2S?
If FAO oil was to be PROCESSED as the RNS's stated, then it would include H2S on the FPSO. Indeed is it not part of a basic FPSO to have H2S detection. Indeed an H2S contingency plan has to be included on any FPSO, which includes taking all necessary precautions and practicable precautions to protect personnel from the toxic effects of H2S and to mitigate the adverse effects to property and the enviroment.
