ihnc - I've changed my investment style & it seems to be paying dividends. from what I remember from many of your posts (we hold several similar cos) you seem to stress your belief of how good a company is potentially.
just a suggestion for 2007, concentrate more on the share price. general volatility on small cos seems to be increasing (look at many graphs, been in the markets for 20 yrs & never seen it short term like this) due to nothing other than manipulation or shortterm sentiment, try to wait & buy on inevitable retraces & be prepared to reduce after strong advances - when trends turn & chart supports a turn, ie take advantage of short term movements, follow those that can influence the sp rather than curse & lose out to them. get out or reduce on falls, saved me some on fao just below 3p.
try it on any company where the fundamentals & chart basics look ok with dyor, financially a rise in in undervalued poor company is better than a fall in a perceived good company. patience is ok but some peops are making plenty from the shortterm movements.
probably not in line with many investment principles, although is sort of 'buy low sell high, but find things have changed & it pays off for me, just be chaos if everyone did it!
