Either way, not a bad day....bodes a little better...lets see what the MM's do tomorrow. If they want to create a market for an AIM stock then they need to encourage buyers - and the way to do it is lower the spreads and be consistent in action and in pricing, otherwise people will turn their backs as they get wiser....internet and all that ...
For example if the spreads were consistently narrow then there would be more flow of buyers/sellers with their criteria being met. e.g if the share does nothing then you can get out without too much pain - in which case you are more likely to want to get in - sort of try before you buy more! Thats why I usually trade OOM, VOD etc - they are slower, they accord with chart patterns and indicators much better...if I am wrong then I can get out with little pain - as the spreads are 0.25p on a 137p share as opposed to 0.75p on a 5p share! and a purchase or sale of 1000000 receives nothing but a yawn. Sure the opportunity to make money is slower but it is a good way of learning to trade IMHO.
Anyway back to Ffastfill - a good punt for 2004 and within 3 months should see some results coming through - the interims are in March I believe and the CEO expects breakeven for 2003/2004 - probably why the £1 million is on the cards.
Also some good late trades going through .......
Hmmm...I don't like to average down.
Goodnight chaps, its nice to be part of a thread where everybody is civil to each other ..at least it stops me growling at my wife ;-)
