FFA - Potential being realised at last?

The one thing that does annoy me is the Market Makers antics. He has suckered in many people on this..You will see a day of all purchases and nothing happens. A day when one person sells 30000 (say £1800) shares and he drops the share price - and the market capitalisation by 10% - £400,000....que! Now,what to do next. The common sense thing would be to sell out, and never venture into AIM stocks ever again - the spreads are awful, the MM's do whatever they want at a whim - as opposed to FTSE 100 - 250 where, as a general rule, the spreads are tighter and there is a lot more scrutiny. Maybe a new years resolution is for everyone to turn their backs on AIM! On the other hand the MM's know the psychology of the market better than most people. The old bid-offer spread trick is quite relentless, and the controlling of the price upwards or downwards based on fresh air is annoying. Ffastfill is the only share I now own that is on AIM - everything else is FTSE 100 - and believe me it is much easier to sleep at night - I believe AIM is for suckers - me included.

However I still stand by Ffastfill because of the reasons above - but the same reasons will no longer get me into anything under a capitalisation of £250 million in the future - nor anything on AIM OFEX or other junk exchanges - a simple rule that means that the market makers 'Darren and his mate' can find their easy pickings elsewhere ........
