Andy Brough was holding these when they were up at 50p, and didn't sell.
If your memory does come back you will recall that I met Andy at an in house presentation ,around this time last year, just after he had sold a few %, and he suggested to me that the story had kept on changing so he was selling.
Whilst I have every respect for Andy, that was hardly "midas touch" investing!!!
I watched the last two interviews from the link, and on paper it looks a good story, but so was the A & L, and Trinity Mirror deals, and look what happened.
Egan has been long on talk and short on delivery, and that is why the share price is down at these levels.
I have only myself to blame for not selling them when the real warning signs started to flash, when they were in the low 30's, but unusually for me, I was swayed by those on here who felt they were in the know.
All may not be lost, but I'm not holding my breath.
Come on Andy, prove my cynicism wrong.
