it was only 40 grand in real money...

I think the only reason to buy this now is as a cash shell for an AIM listing.

value would be 1m in cash (AIM rules I think)
Staff value? (500k maybe) IPR 500k maybe

That makes 2m maybe add 1m goodwill, gives 3m in my opinion.

based on that the share price we would get is half what it is now.

Just my opinion clearly. The alternative is to raise more cash for the business. Does anyone think the city would provide that cash again?
