jimbo,
Surely the US SPR is irrelevant, being the same now as it was before.
I didn't say the Chinese SPR was pipeline fed.
There are several new pipelines in the world, however, which consume quantities of oil to fill, once off. Wherever the Chinese SPR is, it has to be filled soon. Once off, yes, but a lot of extra requirement.
Chinese growth last year itself added over 1% to world usage; was everyone elses static?
The world managed to produce enough oil last year. No one went short. Are you saying we will easily produce enough this year with another 2 or three percent more demanded?
What do an extra million chinese cars run on?
edit: I know nothing; I'm a chartist.
