Hi Wiganer, to some extent I agree about being selective in one's filtering. There are some 'bashers' who post in a way which appears to be plausible/persuasive/reasoned (I am thinking of Biswell, who frequents some of my holdings) even though their motives are cynically manipulative. In such cases there is an argument for responding to posts, if only to point up lies and distortions which might not be evident to a 'casual reader'. In some other cases, however, the posts are so self-evidently idiotic/personalised that it's probably not necessary to deal with them!
