Well, so much for me selling - I got called out at 7 am & havn't had access to the internet all day...perhaps a good job as they've gone up.
I have to say though, I still have no confidence.
If there was any synergy in this then surely it would have been mentioned in the RNS.
Also (sorry to go on - I've had all day to worry about my shares being worth nowt!) even if the deal is fantastic & will provide a great return to envesta...sod it, I can't explain myself. I'm going to look at the RNS:
"The new financial year sees the management focused on the development of its
three main trading areas: Seven Telecom servicing the UK calling card market;
Eurotel Exchange offering a similar service throughout Europe, and initially in
Spain and Italy; and a new corporate division targeting SMEs with above average
international telephone use.
We are currently pursuing a number of acquisitions and start-up opportunities
to enhance this strategy."
How does this acquisition help fit this strategy? (23 Oct RNS)
24th March RNS:
"The Board remains committed to developing Envesta as a broad based alternative
telephony provider both through organic growth and acquisitions that satisfy our
strict criteria of being synergistic with Seven Telecom and cash generative.
Various discussions have been held with target companies during the period, some
of which are ongoing."
Where is the synergy?
3 years ago I would have believed that the management just didn't put enough emphasis on the synergies - nowadays I have lost too much money to take the risk. (WGG,ITX,ART etc)
The worry makes me want to invest in blue chips - arrghhh!!
