I wouldn't be too surprised to see these go private. If what 2yellow says about Magruder and EC making pretty much the same dyes. Perhaps Smith wants to combine Magruder and EC's American ops and offlaod the UK stuff to managment if he can.

Is there a possibility they could consolidate the UK operations onto one site? Perhaps they could sell the Stockport site and move to Woolwich. Or move out of central London altogether. I would think there would be cost savings in this. I suggested it to Steve Smith and he said that the cost wasn't worth it. But the UK operations continue to lose money so it seems to me that something needs to be done

Smith always came across as quite stroppy and a bit arrogant to me when I was a shareholder.
