I don't understand what people are trying to put across here. Surely MOST biotechs have years of research burning cash with no hope of income until a drug gets mades and approved?
looking at 2005 OXB results (a company that most people feel happy with)
Revenue £824k
R&D +ADMIN £12,192k
Operating Loss £11,233k
EIRX 2006
Revenue £24k? (does this include the various grants?)
R&D + ADMIN? £1882k
Loss £1832k
Allowing for scale is that so different?
Then people start talking about renesola. This scares the pants of me. I looked at it some time ago. Checked their pathetic website (loads of links incomplete) no real view of their faciities. Tried tracing the location of their factory using their map. All in all it looks a bit fishy. And people are thankful they put their money there rater than EIRX. mmmh ... at least you cold go and look at ERXs facilities!!!
