Just spoke with JDA source. Short conversation as he was in a bit of a hurry. I sent him the link to the Anadarko Analyst Conf which stated drilling would begin in 2007. He confirmed drilling would indeed take place in JDZ 2007 in 2,3,4. He would not give specifics but told me to call back after first of year and he should be able to give more details. Source said 100% certain drilling in 2007 and I don't think the Anadarko folks would throw that date out there in their conference call with WS analyst if they didn't mean it. They have to be very conservative of course. I will be calling again in a couple of weeks.

Additionally, I asked him about all the news regarding some of the smaller players in JDZ receiving offers (buy-ins and buyouts etc..). I mentioned ERHC and he said he had heard there were proposals on table but he did not want to comment on this as it's not his place to.

Very interesting. IMO.
