By Feb. 06, EEL's second test well will start to drill in the Owanare Block for hydrocarbon. B1-DX Well's 1583 current depth is less than half way to target depth of 3550 metres below sea level. Sounds like a continuous operation for their rig! I don't know much about these gas, condensate and oil layers, etc. terminology but this update report sounds so enticing on the show up of gas layers. I guess the '7-10 days' quote is meant to re-test previous drill data on shows of layers of sands: upper gas, main gas, oil and lower gas. If all the layers show according to previous pattern, we're in luck. The additional advantage shown so far is the 'up-dip' higher position.
On your main question---I don't know; but I am so excited by the skilfulness of this update which certainly told of positive encounter of previous data and of the next drill operation in 4-5 weeks time. When the data of the first well will be fully collected and in the process of being analysed; the 2nd well will begin drilling---this continuity means (to me) continuity in sp trend with no letup. Sorry, my tuppence worth!
