I was convinced at one stage last year that they would/could finally exploit the technology they had built and start building real, genuine solid repeatable revenues that could well see this business finally establish itself as a growth prospect that wouldn't need constant injections of cash.
However, I think hubris got the better of me. Instead, in 2006 what we got was just more of the same from a CEO who was 'found' by the previous, now disgraced CEO and who seemed to be just as bad at separating fact from fiction.
As for the 'excuse' in regard to gambling related income, it was just that, an excuse. Revenues were declining before legislation in the US was sneaked in and I am told that they had no interest in pursuing the gaming business at all, and subsequently let go or made redundant anyone that had anything to do with it. Given their inability to do real solid deals that can be seen to stack up, I can only assume that unless evidence emerges to the contrary that the latest CEO is just another long line of supreme wasters who all have one innate quality, namely the ability to extract cash from pretty dumb investors like me! lol!!
So, I agree, this looks like a dog, moves like a dog, makes noises like a dog and still has fleas like a dog...which I suspect means it is a dog.
Still, miracles have been known to happen and all the time that this dog still lives there must be some hope, and I have to admit given their history the chances are that they will run out of CEO's before they run out of newer mug punters to keep handing over their cash!
