If you give any credence to the automated technical analysis viewpoint then
currently
makes depressing viewing/reading (see text below) if you have even
my modest holding.
I only bought in for my personal pension fund at the peak of EGS recovery
from 30p having taken too long to convince myself that it was a good
2-5 year bet. I was not sufficiently disciplined to sell when it
dropped a few pence below my buy price so I am now taking the traditional
view that "the fundamentals are still sound so I am going to hold on".
Q: What is the definition of a long term investment?
A: A short term investment which has gone sour.
"EGS Sell candidate (24 Dec 2001) Mid Trading range 54-56
Has fallen 91% since the peak on 6 Sep 2000 at 638. Shows a weak development within a falling trend channel. A further negative development is indicated, and there is resistance against the ceiling of the trend channel. RSI is, however, oversold, which indicates a potential short-term reaction up. High risk with an average difference between the lowest and the highest price of the month of 53%. "
