well anyway, my strong recommendation is .......
take some time to review what was said before and run it side by side against the actuals that followed. Will it teach you a lot? well, no. OK maybe.
I've done it a few times. You might meet the "What tossin idiot said THAT".....ooops it was me, syndrome. I have.
Another thought about eo I cannot get my head around. Directors holdings not as high as I would have expected. And as for those options being granted at the top price, what was that all about?
Actually, would someone give me their opinion on the following.
EnCore Oil PLC (EO.) Monday 6 March, 2006
EnCore Oil PLC

For immediate release: 6 March 2006
EnCore Oil plc
Issue of Options
EnCore Oil plc ('Encore' or the 'Company') announces that on 3 March 2006 the
Company adopted the EnCore Oil plc Share Option Plan 2006 (the 'Share Option
Plan'). The following options were issued to:
Name No. of Ordinary
Shares Under
Option
Alan Booth, Chief Executive 1,390,000
Eugene Whyms, Finance Director 1,390,000
Graham Dore 1,140,000
Michael Lynch 250,000
Christine Wheeler 250,000
The options are exercisable in three equal tranches on the first, second and
third anniversaries of the date of grant at an exercise price of 34 pence per
share (the market value of the Ordinary Shares as at the date of grant).
I have assumed that each specified is a total number over the 3 year period. But is it possible that it is these numbers EACH YEAR?
I'll say this for the directors, if the number of shares is a total over 3 years, then they don't appear to be milking it. Do we know what they take as salary?
