Found this excellent piece on the STAR ENERGY website:
Currently STAR has a problem in that all its prospective gas storage sites are onshore; and the problems with planning at Welton are likely causing concern for their other sites at Albury (24bcf), Bletchingley (30bcf) & Gainsborough (8bcf). The completed project at Humbly Grove in Hampshire is for just 10bcf.
The costs involved in developing Forbes as an offshore gas storage site will be significantly more than onshore; but if this pans out then all sorts of fancy numbers for future profitability will begin to appear.
This prospect is a welcome bonus for what is already a very good story at Encore. It is just another good reason for suspecting that this stock will be a major winner in 2007.
