The timing for the well, which lies close to shore, could change because the probe may need an environmental waiver from the UK government for drilling in the autumn or winter in this sensitive part of the Moray Firth.

Now we are due to spud sometime in Jan, but we have been waiting for years for a drilling chance like Golden Eagle so a little longer isn't going to worry me.

The DTI will release the results in Jan - and i'm hoping we have got all 8 ;-)

Hoping to see 24p tomorrow and i'll top up again.
