Holding in Company


The Company was notified on 18 December 2006 that, on completion of the placing
of 29,166,666 ordinary shares of 5p each on 21 December 2006, FirstRand
(Ireland) Plc has an interest in 8,000,000 ordinary shares of 5p each in the
Company, representing 3.4 per cent. of the issued share capital.
