There is risk here - what happens if every hole they drill comes up dry. I know that is now a lot of dry holes but it could happen I guess. What happens if the feasability study for the gas storage is negative.

Lots of ifs at the moment, but in my opinion the 'ifs' can be valued with a risk discount.

The IC may come up with something on Friday after last Friday's news. The Sunday Telegraph may give it a mention as well.

Look at the volume, this stock is off all radars at the moment. That is the time to buy in my opinion. You can't fault the news flow now, each one of these deals is big news in their own right for such a small company.

As The Boxer said, Encore is lining up its ducks. 2007 will see it firing the gun - some will fly away, some will get a backside full of lead.

List the deals, list the future news flow, and find me a stock in this sector, of this market cap, in this region, with better prospects.

I'm holding for two years minimum (check out the value the management team created at their previous company's - they ain't gonna do it overnight). I can't time the market. Look what happened on Friday - who expected that? Who expected ChelseaPaul's post this morning? Why sell one day and wake up the next morning and find that Encore have signed another deal or that a predator has made an offer. Saves me a lot of stress. Andy times the market well, sells one day and then buys back. I don't invest like that - just not my style.

I treat Encore like I treat my woman. Gently and with patience, cos they are a beautiful creature. Ok, they have their bad days and they cost you money, but keep putting cash their way every now and then. You'll do alright by em.

As to Eagle, if it comes in brilliant. If it doesn't, well there are plenty of more ducks flying Encore's way.
