Jameel the exchange rate is 80 odd (can be bothered to scroll back) therefore its 6.25 Million GBP
I'm a bit worried that they have purchased 25% of Norwest 50% and not ours, if thats the case our 50% of the block is still worth lots and lots, in fact its a bloody lot.
Hardman in the valuation of Faroes 10% share of our block 42/13 uses the value of £850,000 per BCF, to come to its valuation of 17million (600 BCF) (33% risk factor)
As per Norwest estimates range from 90 BCF to 400 BCF.
( times any estimate between 90 and 400 by £850,000 then divide by the risk factor)
Now if you were the 32nd largest Oil Company in the world, with profits of 111,000,000 per year and thousands of employees what estimate would you be working on to invest £6.25 million for a 25% share.
