The problem with the bb reader/punter is they dont full understand
the institution holder scenario.
Imagine if you hold 2.5 million shares in Eme, on a normal quiet day
and there's been a few you would be lucky to sell 20-50k without causing
the price to drop a few pence.
Now a large holder cannot sell at all because the mm will of course see
they are selling and slash their prices !
However the mm can or will be approached when the stock is seeing every
strong demand like today, there will be only so many chances to reduce
their holding at such a good price without killing a share price and today
was a great day for one such holder.
It does not mean that bad news is coming but the seller could have well
been involved in the original placing and is banking a nice safe profit.
This happens in all small stocks despite the potential, there's nothing
wrong with playing safe, many of the Vog original large holders top sliced
when the stock went to 70p from 25p before it fell back to 40p and then in
time jumped back to 140p !
