as one of the optimist saying last year 10,000 bopd. i suppose from that point, its not been a good year for een. but considering 4 non producing drills, the water problems at vigia and campo rico, the unforseen troubles with the pumps.
most of the trouble seems to be unavoidable. and one off those things. as they say, "shit happens". scuse language.
the current production we don't realy know, as to how far the work has been completed, still not sure of. but who's to say that its not finished, and current production is not at the same as this time last year..
add the 4 non producing drills, it could have been at or near the 10,000 bopd. but it is not so, on that premis you could have made more money elsewhere, but i for one am not taking the chance on missing what i have been waiting for. so i buy more when i think its right too. and i'll wait till it all comes good. (optimist again)
all being well, 2007 could be better than i thought 2006 would be. because syria is added on, and one hopes soon producing some of the potential, and gigante looks like it may at last be happening.
aureliano, could ( repeat could) be producing at some good figures. i also wonder if the api there is not better than we have been used to of late.
if they can get some good production going, and things go well, ( for a change) they can, maybe, get gigante going earlier than planned at the moment. rather than late 2007. early 2008. there seems to be plenty of irons in the fire, and what with new teas and such, i think 2007 should hold a lot of promise, for someone who can wait. and i can. and will. ken.
