stupidboypike: thanks. In many ways, the XK8 does what the Maser does, but there's so little room in the back seats...like virtually none! Even my Jensen Interceptor has more room in the back. I would have done things a bit differently (and I did own half of a design studio, so I'm not quite so stupid as I look...) but Jaguar apparently focussed on the driver's needs. I prefer the DB7 visually. A snag with the early XK8s is that the engines blow up, and they are very expensive to replace (even if sourced from a breaker). bob
