An excellent post.
As you say, conservative figures based before the doubling of production and the inclusion of gas; and again before the host of other benifits that seem likely to come Dragons way during 2006. It now seems very possible that with what we know already for 2006 that a SP of £3.50 would be well supported by fundamentals and £6.00 possible by the year end. This would bode well for 2007 if other factors came into play.
I think that 2006 is going to see major changes with regard to the gas situation for both Dragon and Turkmenistan. From reading the wording of the latest deal for the supply of gas to Russia it would seem that we have a fundamental shift in the thinking of the Russians from that of a position of having Turkmenistan over a barrel because of Russian ownership of the pipelines to one of partnerships in bringing the energy resourses of Turkmenistan to world markets.
Russia now knows that Turkmenistan is very nearly in a position to bypass Russia for its energy exports and is therefore now willing to do deals. We now have talk of Russian/Turkman joint companies being set up to exploit Turkmeni resourses and we already have the Turkmen leader saying that Turkmeni resourses will be sold at world prices by the end of 2006. What this means to me is that there is going to be some major developments for gas in 2006 both in regard to access to markets and prices achieved. All this will ofcourse be a major benifit to Dragon as not only will it supply export routes but it will give them world prices.
I have stated before that 2006 is going to be an exceptional year for Dragon and its shareholders and for those that have held all through the MM manipulations I think that 2006 will see them getting just reward.
