River,
Have tried my best to conserve some of the marsh wildlife, as so much has disappeared during the 25 years that i have lived here.
Planted a couple of Budlia bushes to help save the tiny Marsh red butterfly, but mainly i get cabbage whites visiting (those i can do without).
However, i now have blackbirds & country sparrows feeding from the seeds of the bushes, the latter are smaller & sleeker than their town counterparts. Also i noticed a very small sparrow that come visiting the budlia bushes & i believe it is a jenny wrenn, but my eyes aren't as good as they were, but will concentrate & see.
