A name for that dysfunctionaity has yet to be invented: but, mark my words, it is a serious problem.
Blinds feature heavily in the remit of a compulsive curtainer: they often replace curtains with blinds because:
A Blinds can be adjusted without the culprit being spotted - i.e. from the
sides.
B They can be adjusted vertically, adding a whole new dimension to the
obsession.
I know you regard it as a joke, Jonck, but believe you me, it is a serious problem which afflicts more housewives than is conscienable.
