I hate meeting a dog on a walk - often. My wife really freaks. I hill walk 3 times a week and meet all kinds.
'It wont bother you' and the unleashed mut runs up and barks visciulsy. Dogs? well I know a few nice ones, but you can never get a dog owner to realise they are not 'darlings'.
Yesterday - ruddy 'groundhog day' as usual wasnt it. You are in a time warp until bed. Even the dismal Richard Wilson on the 'best 50 comedy moments' was dull . Of course they have to have a running commentary from idiots which breaks up any dramatic value the snippets might have had. What morons the Beeb think we are, I realised. I've struck Richard Wilson off my 'guys I grudgingly quite like' list.
Did anyone watch the Two Ronnies' ? Poor old Barker, what a conclusion to a life, he really should have retired and stayed retired. As a fellow Scotsman I fail to see the value of the existence of a Corbett, unless to tramp up on a Saturday Morning.

Well at least Boxing Day had the relief of Hearts 5 Falkirk nill, and a hill walk for me. Only slightly negates the disturbing Match Programme comments from the new boss, Romanov, who oddly says the press and media are 'Evil' as they dont like his management of Hearts. I fully expect him to bring out his Fangs at midnight as he scrambles up Edinburgh castle to drain the blood from the caretaker.

Now on the ist glass /bottle one Banrock Station, and my defrosted chicken barbie chicken and roast pork I did in October. I do good Greek grilled food not burnt burger stuff.
Pressies for a 50 year old? well I got 3 computer games and I've spent two hours understanding the controls of 'Praetorian' a strategy Civ type game, it is really good for 9 quid on a 3 for 2 basis. My wife got a 'special creatures' game as she loves taking the wings off things and sticking them on dogs.
Now onto the 4th glass of BAnrock station as the train leaves the station.
Actuallly today not too bad at all, get ready for dinner now, and Lady Hector is being very cuddly. so 'good night from him' How I hate these pawky cretins butI really did appreciate old Morecambe.
