LONDON (AFX) - Center Parcs (UK) Group PLC said it has signed a heads of
terms agreement with Les Jardins Leisure Ltd and Les Jardins Residential Ltd
(LJL) for the operating contract of Les Jardins de la Mer, a new luxury
waterfront apartment and leisure complex to be built on Jersey.
The development comprises approximately 5.7 acres of prime waterfront land
in St Helier.
Under the agreement, Center Parcs will have an operating lease for 21 years
over the leisure apartments, spa, restaurant, delicatessen, leisure area, indoor
pool and car parking facilities. Center Parcs said it will be investing around 2
mln stg toward the end of the construction phase of the project to fund the fit
out of these facilities.
