Brenda ended up in hospital after an insecure fairy tumbled off a city centre spruce. The doctors were very good and blamed the local authority but the damage had already been done. They wanted to treat her with an anti biotic but we both said an emphatic no. I made her a mushroom and ghee dressing when we got back to the tent. I'd like to report progress on the swelling but it would be over optimistic on my part. The redness around the puncture wound (caused by the wand) has turned to a sort of dark black colour and there's a strange smell to the flesh. If she's no better in the morning I'll pop her round to the body shop and seek advice.

Me and Brenda laughed at your proposal that Serene Moreton was an anagram. Strip-o-Gram once maybe but anagram never. Wherever did you get such an idea?

Anyway must dash, Brenda's sitting in front of the fire and the mushrooms are starting to caramelise.
