News of a contract win for Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping sent its shares 4.5p better to 82.5p. The company has been awarded a contract by Rockhopper Exploration to conduct a Controlled Source Electromagnetic Survey over a number of prospects including at least one shallow water prospect in the North Falkland Basin. The significance of the news stems from the fact that this is one of the group's first shallow water contracts since the company formally launched its shallow water CSEM service in November, and the first time that CSEM will be used in the Falkland Islands. The prospect for further similar orders looks good.
