Feb cardioq is too fiddly to use and displaces easily. add to that the risk of oesophageal trauma and the recent introduction of edwards lifescience's vigileo monitoring which is much more accurate and safe and preferred (by me and my colleagues at least). You'd have to look away from anaesthetists to sell that one (I've used it and don't particularly fancy it). try the physicians, they can't do arterial and central lines (and don't give a toss about oesophageal trauma).
BB will perhaps be glad to hear about the competition. I don't know about the oesophageal trauma.
