From QL. 'The surge in business levels is having a dramatic impact on the results. DebtMatters increased profits more than six-fold to £818,000 for the six months to 30 September on sales up 229 per cent to £2.44 million. This is more than the profit for the whole of the year to 31 March 2005 and strongly suggests that forecasts for the current year are still too low.'
In April they processed 129 cases, in October 250 and they now have the capacity to handle 500 a month with 1000 cases pending. The current forecast for 2006 is : Turnover £5.7 million (£2.55 million, 2005), PBT £1.52 million (£0.5 million, 2005), EPS 4.30 (1.11, 2005)with slightly slower but strong growth in 2007.
If the forecast for the current year proves low we could be in for an exciting ride. As my old Nan used to say, hang on to your hat! I just wish I'd bought sub 100p when DEBT first hit my radar. DYOR
