Day Trader's Thread 31/12/02

Afternoon al back from the Gym and not much changed on my positions, looks like you have been having fun with LAND

Not sure about a ftse prediction but lots of expectations for bullish rally in January so I will expect a fall for the next week or so and then we rally to 4400 on the FTSE and down into year end and a finish about flat for the year.

Why? well looking at reports expected in the next few weeks i do not expect too much good news but then expect that to be discounted as we make a tradeable bottom at 3400 is on the FTSE from which we can rally and listen to all those cheerleaders saying the bear market is over followed by a dose of reality.

Just my theory for now which could be easily proved wrong in the first few weeks so giving me plenty of time to change my mind for the rest of the year.

If those analysts were so smart you would think that they would have provisos in thier estimates based on the near future activity. Such as if we see a strong rally in January then we could be faced with a sharp decline into the summer, starting March time.
