The business seems to be already on a trajectory of going forward rapidly, and it could indeed be a consideration after results in March and EGM/AGM. It would silence a few critics, come onto a few additional radar screens and possibly enhance the prospects of issuing equity later to fund further asset purchases? One should remember that Dana's board has now attained some very credible expertise in the field of finance with the recent appointments of Colin Goodall and David MacFarlane.
I believe that the improvement in Dana's financial position and experienced team will also enhance their negotiating hand with existing assests/swaps ect. In other words they have the finacial clout to move forward with projects be that Unjung Pangkah, Ghana or Mauritania ect.
2003 will indeed be a transforming year for Dana, this will be reflected in the ascent of its share price over the comming months. In my opinion any near term fall back in price will provide a further opportunity, and one I intend to take up in the unlikely event. I HOLD.
