Morning Bomfin
Thanks for that Talisman slide show. Very interesting. A few things stood out:-
Firstly Buchan shows significant explo. potential-but that's for another place;-)
Secondly, just how few companies control the vast bulk of NS oil and gas production, a nice slide.
Thirdly as you say, it is good to see such a significant extension to the Claymore field. Also to see that virtually all of Talisman's fields' lifes has been extended. Perhaps auguring well for the NS interests of Dana, etc, to be similarly extended as newer technology, better lifting processes, etc, come on stream?
I noticed from production tables that Claymore has gone from 19,000 BOPD to 24,000 BOPD in the month from July to August, which is encouraging. Do you think there is more to come? Pity Dana has only got such a small stake in it. Much better than a poke int he eye with the proverbial sharp stick of course:-)
Have you or anyone else been running the production numbers over the past couple of months? Have to confess to not having done so for about three months, much to my shame. If so, how do they look?
Thanks for the link.
