Result of placing

Dana is pleased to announce the successful completion of the placing (the
"Placing") announced earlier today. A total of 3,953,498 new ordinary shares of
15 pence each (the "Placing Shares") have been placed by Hoare Govett Limited
("Hoare Govett") with institutions at a price of 870 pence per share, raising
approximately #34.4 million before expenses.
