harry - obviously nobody ridiculously stupid enough at geography invested here. Not so stupid as to associate China with the west coast of southeast asia and india ;) Thats like flooding in Venice effecting the FTSE!
I wasn't invested in Madrid but all of my shares went down some 20%. We live in a global economy. Obviously the rest of us aren't ridiculously stupid enough to think i was referring to India being in China, clearly you are on your own. If Venice flooded it would definately affect ( not effect ) the footsie. Try reading about the markets and how they affect each other ...it's part of Dow theory ...and NO, john Dow didn't make port.
