Trafficmaster plc ("Trafficmaster" or the "Company") announces that it was
advised on 22 December that on that date, Colin Walsh, Non-executive Chairman of
Trafficmaster purchased 100,000 ordinary shares of 5 pence each ("Ordinary
Shares") in the Company at a price of 26 pence per share.



After this transaction, the interest of Mr Walsh in the Ordinary Shares of the
Company is 200,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.15% of the
issued Ordinary Share capital.
