Countrywide - CWD .....the short ?!

Funnily enough Micky Clarke on the BBC this morning said watch out for companies sneaking out announcements on this day as it will not be reported in the papers the next few days.

Whatever positive slant they tried , and posters on this thread try the facts are there.


RNS headline says ''change of advisor''. In the RNS the first line says 'change of auditor'.

Then.. KPMG have resigned.

Then.. Stoy Hayward LLP have been appointed with immediate effect.

My thoughts...

in the normal course of events auditors change and transfer responsibility to another auditor..... they don't resign.... resignation announcements are naughty and on Christmas Eve are even more naughty.


immediate effect ..well it is in effect Christmas Eve and a change of auditors has never happened before on this date to my knowledge.

The drains are getting blocked and it's starting to stink. Something is going on behind the scenes and today was not a transparent market.
