For me its too much of a coincidence, every day the stock recovers a few points as they take out the offer, in the auction also - if they really wanted the stock you would see X trades as funds let them have blocks of stock at the middle- I know there is a requirement to buy the stock in the market but I am sure this doesnt mean buying 2/3k lots.
Friday was a good example of this when it dived to 347 to recover to 355, whats the bets we see an RNS for X number of shares at say 352.
Just my thoughts, but sometimes its the most obvious answer that is the correct one.
