probably wrong but I thought


its a bit like an ordinary auction, in as much as each player gets to bid a new amount that tops the previous best, up to the last week in january. when a final saled bid kicks in if there is no outright winner.

up to the end of jan anyone can join in or leave the table.

and I think the tata's have been out manouvered and csn will win if no other bidders enter the fray.

Cannot see why the tata's are staying at the table if steinbruch has as many shares/promises as rumoured.
