Corac - Best Risk Reward Ratio on the Stock Market?
The Prophet - Sat, 30 Dec 06 :
-Hi FSE
-yes, hear what you are saying and you could well be right, always difficult to tell when the market will pick up on an individual stock, and the market for small cap techs has not been great over the last year or so.
-but these things go in cycles, and perhaps the cycle may well turn in the favour of such companies again soon.
-in that respect, in it quite heartening to see the re-rating that Ceramic Fuel cells(CFU) has undergone, pushing the market cap to £150m+
-they are, ofcourse, completely different companies, but there are some similairities, both have globally applicable technologies that could have a major effect on energy usegae and supply. CFU has recently signed a development deal with Gaz de France, other such deals are rumoured to be in the pipeline. Corac have existing deals that pay for all development with Conoco, Repsol and ENI. Times to expected commercialisation are similair.
-with DGC on its last lap, I think it is just going to need a spark for the market to pick up on CRA, and re-ratings can often be far-reaching and swift.
-I think CRA, as the header suggests, does have an incredible risk/reward ratio and although the current rating is frustrating, I would not like to be out of these.
-have concentrated on DGC in the above, but the Industrial Air division has made the breakthrough to initial sales in 2006, which I fully expect to see increases in during 2007. Industrial Air is clearly worth something in its own right (pencil your own figure in!), further increasing the attractiveness of CRA.
-Would be suprised if the sp does not make very decent strides in 2007. The shares could easily double + and leave bags of headroom for 2008 and beyond.
-In the meantime, a break back over 40p would be a welcome start! Some decent buys in recent days, so perhaps others are also seeing the fantastic near term potential on offer here!
-or, to put it another way, Corac is effectively sitting on the biggest gas field the world has ever seen, we ain't talking about a few % points of extra gas squeezed out, but an absolutely massive up to 40% amount!!!! No wonder the gas boys are happy to finance the thing and are lining up big budgets for live trials.
-the most significant tech in the gas/oil industry to date?
