COLT Telecom, the telecoms carrier that was the worst performer in the FTSE 250 in 2004, having halved in value, improved ¼p to 47p as John Remondi, who in December joined as a non-executive, purchased a debut 200,000 shares. Mr Remondi is senior vice-president at Fidelity, the US fund manager which is COLT’s controlling shareholder.
