Rob - you and I are definately on the same side of the fence: I certainly believe that the SP is a massive undervaluation of Colt. I cannot for the life of me envisage CTM back to 35p. I find it hard to believe that it can go much lower than where it is currently trading and that is why I was asking on Tone's analysis whether he really thought it was possible that it could go to 35.
I don't need to do too much homework to see what has happened when Directors bought - as it is on those occasions (other than the most recent tranche of buying after their Christmas lunch) that I have piled in and increased my position. Alas on both occasions the price has taken a fall. [Remember Charlier/Bates increased their holdings at 58p : fool I am I increased mine at 62]. I still believe the director buys are a sign of positive confidence and it is solely the manipulations which have prevented the expected rise.
Henryxx - thanks for pointing out that I missed the Cash-in-the-Bank : that suggests the SP needs to increase way more than threefold to put an SP = real possible asset value.
An SP of £1.80 is possibly where CTM might be now had they not made that profit warning in July04.
