I am not disputing that money cannot be made but the problem is that their business is poorly defined. Their business model is not as universal and applicable across the whole 100 or now 60-odd outlets –this is why some locations are highly successful and some loose money. Equality Deli model suffers from the same sort of problems – it is discriminating and somewhat alien to many. The whole image could be tone down a bit to emphasise the simple service they are capable of providing and the quality of the goods on offer rather then giving lessons on lifestyle priorities
