I think the reason for not doing it themselves is the cost. You need to get someone as good as an individual owner that will work as hard as a franchisee to get that sort of performance. What is the cost of doing that over 46 stores?
Answer me this - why do Dominos franchise? Surely if they know it's such a success and any store is in profit from day one then why do they bother franchising? Why haven't they ended the franchise model and taken all new stores in house and kept all the profit themselves?
