Sorry WJCC but I meant most are profitable as deli's when converted. Room for improvement in a Coffee Republic? Well the one nearest me is like a toilet imo, a grim little place that looks dirty, has grubby, greasy fingered aluminum chairs. If someone let a bomb off inside it the ambience would be improved. They actually make a profit in this one I have heard and it's set to be a franchise I hear on the grapevine. The guy that buys this one will make a packet imo. It is in the most prime spot. On a Saturday they must get 100 people or more pass the store per minute. If it lost the grim dark brown Coffee Republic livery and decor for the new black, red and white deli style it would be packed to the rafters selling food. There's a private deli around the corner, half the size of CFE and they queue 20 deep outside at lunch time to buy. The turnover at this CFE store will more than double imo. This can't be the only one.
Geeze Monty, how many times does it have to be said that CFR isn't about Coffee anymore?
